In England, parents have the legal right to withdraw their children from Religious Education (RE) lessons. 

It's important to note that this right does not extend to other areas of the curriculum where religious content may be present, such as in history or PSHE. Therefore, parents should be aware that their child may still encounter religious topics in these subjects from which they cannot withdraw.
